Bali Firefly BnB (originally known as Pondok Ibu Anna) is hidden away in the traditional village of Penestanan Kaja. Ubud is a short 20 minute walk away either by local tracks or by road.

Our villas are quietly nestled among rice paddies in a beautiful terraced garden with tranquil lily ponds, and the rich colours of flowering tropical plants and trees. In the distance, across the rice fields, sits the volcano Gunung Agung, Bali's sacred mountain.

This sanctuary was designed by Ann Donnan, integrating her international experience with her knowledge of Balinese culture and architecture. It will appeal to nature lovers, bird watchers or anyone looking for a peaceful meditative space.

Ubud's central location in Bali allows for easy access to many popular destinations. This makes Bali Firefly BnB an ideal haven from which to explore the astounding beauty of Bali and meet its warm and friendly  people.  It is a great  place from which to discover local folklore and legends and experience the festivals and ceremonies which are so much a part of the Hindu/Balinese way of life. The cultural experience starts each day in the most practical way with a delicious Bali Firefly BnB breakfast!
